2001-2021...20 YEARS!

From it's beginning in 2001 as a couple of guys getting coffee, to the current monthly gathering drawing hundreds of truly amazing cars, Scuderia Southwest is a group of people who share a common interest in great automobiles.  We put on a few car events, organize a few drives, pull a few g's on the track, and even congregate for a good meal.

We love all cars but have a particular passion for rare exotic, high performance and collector cars and our activities typically reflect that.  From the 1962 250 GTO to the latest 812 Superfast, we are passionate about Ferraris.  From the 1972 Miura to the latest Aventador SV, we love Lamborghinis.  The Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing and SLS AMG, McLaren 675LT, Shelby Cobra, D & E-type Jags, and Ford GT are just a few of the special cars we keep in our garages.   If you're a car guy or gal, come on out and let's share some coffee, cool stories, and tech talk!

Our Leadership Team

Steve Mraovic

Steve is the godfather of our team. He, and a few friends, started this endeavor in the summer of 2001. His passion for exotic cars led to our very existence. Steve's expertise and craftsmanship are respected throughout the exotic collector world. We once saw him remove the engine from a Testarossa in 23 seconds, while blindfolded, and holding a small child in one arm. You'll find Steve's number in the address book of serious collectors everywhere.

Ethan Golf

Ethan has a few sandwich shops so he takes care of our real estate agreements. They must been pretty good sandwiches because today Ethan has a 70th anniversary 488 Spyder and a 458 Speciale Aperta. Nowadays he has branched out into more discerning restaurants and become a stickler for presentation, whether it's resting on a plate or parked in a row. Watch out if you try parking at one of our events and you're not at just the precise angle.

Matt O'Connor

Matt has been attending car shows since he was in middle school in 2006, and always interested in cars. He went from being the photographer to helping the SSW team put together shows. He’s always around cars, so wanted to be in the automotive industry. He works at Hubbard Auto Center in Scottsdale selling exotic cars, so go buy a car from him to join the ranks of SSW. You’ll see Matt putting together for all the SSW shows before anyone shows up.

David Crofford

David strings together the wires and writes the code that allows for the magical digital bits to come to you as words and pictures. He also struggles with the financials and legal for our little endeavor.

After 30 years in the IT business, David had a mental breakdown and went to go live in a tree in the woods. He was quite burdensome to the gnomes that lived there. After a while, to get him to leave, they said they would grant him a wish...and so, today, you can see him tooling around in a 458 Speciale.
